Ford Tops BrandIndex’s 2013 Buzz Rankings

According to BrandIndex’s 2013 Mid Year US Buzz Rankings, the Ford Motor Company is receiving the most positive “buzz” out of any brand in the country, not just in the auto industry.

You Gov BrandIndex polls consumers to determine buzz rankings of all different categories such as industries, markets, and counties around the globe. For the United States side, it couldn’t have been any better for Ford. There were 600,000 people polled to give their perception of over 1,100 companies in the US. Some of the questions asked in the polls might be “Have you heard anything good or bad about Ford in the past 2 weeks?” and questions to help determine how strong of a buzz the company has.

Ford was ranked number 6 in the same Buzz Rankings for 2012 but has jumped all the way up to number 1 in 2013. This could be partially attributed to the recent sales success Ford has seen with two of its more popular models, the Ford Fusion and the Ford Focus. People have nothing but great things to say about these stylish, practical, and incredibly fuel-efficient vehicles.
