Friendly Ford of Roselle recently hosted their first annual Car Show and Customer Appreciation Day on August 11th, 2012. The folks at Friendly Ford combined vintage and classic cars with free food and Rock & Roll tunes to show their gratitude for their customers and community. The car show had a great turn-out with more than 100 different cars participating.
The car show had no fee, but there were raffles on site with proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure for breast cancer research.
Classes were designed to accommodate Ford and non-Ford cars by the decade, but there were specific classes for Fords as well. The Ford-specific classes included Model T, Thunderbird, Lincoln, and Mercury, as well as a special class for Mustangs. A class for motorcycles was also available. Awards were given for Best in Show and Dealer’s Choice, with plaques given to the first 50 winners
Everyone at Friendly Ford appreciates the support from their customers and looks forward to seeing everyone back next year!
