The 2015 Ford models are slowly coming to light as we brought you a peek at the 2015 Expedition last week. Over the past couple of years, Ford has been restyling and redesigning their models so that they all have a unified style. So far all of the new Ford models we have seen have been sporting a fresher look all with a unified grille design.
This week, Autoblog got a first look at the redesigned 2015 Ford Focus which is set to debut at the Geneva Motor Show. Autoblog reports that the Focus will be sporting only some slight changes as the majority of the body lines remain the same. They did note a new rear bumper and taillights on the back of the car and a reshaped hood and new headlights on the front. Head on over to Autoblog to get a glimpse of the restyled Ford for 2015.
The 2014 Ford Focus will be getting a slight makeover for the 2015 model year!

2015 may be almost a whole year away, but the 2015 models are starting to appear among automakers. One of the highly anticipated Ford models for 2015 is the Ford Expedition. If you happened to be at the Auto Show in Dallas on February 19th, you got a peek at the 2015 Ford Expedition.
New for the 2015 model year, the Expedition will be available with only one engine option. The 2015 fullsize SUV is powered by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine replacing the 2014’s 5.4-liter V8. Ford wants to help drivers get better fuel economy and better low-end torque with the V6 swap.
The 2015 looks very similar to its 2014 counterpart. Ford has put a new three-bar grille on the front and has restyled the headlamps. The rear of the Expedition gets slightly revamped with a chrome tip exhaust and more accents on the hatch.
At Friendly Ford, we are excited to see what the new 2015 Expedition has in store! Be sure to swing by Autoblog to view pictures of the recently unveiled Expedition and be sure to stop by our dealership in Roselle, Illinois to check out the 2014 model.
The 2015 Ford F-150 offers drivers a lighter, more refined body because it uses aluminum instead of the standard metals used before. The use of aluminum has saved the F-150 700 pounds and has thus increased efficiency and increased dent resistance.
Although the efficiencies and dent resistance will add value to the truck, consumers and dealerships are worried about the costs associated with fixing a largely aluminum truck. Ford says not to worry! They recently announced that they will be paying 20% of what shops will spend on training and gear to fix the 2015 F-150.
Get Service and Repairs at Friendly Ford
Ford is hoping to move more of their vehicles toward the use of aluminum for added efficiencies. Their investment in repairs definitely shows how serious they are about moving in said direction. The F-150 continues to be Ford’s best-selling vehicle and Ford has made a commitment to continue that tradition with its all new F-150.
Ford dealers will be ready to help you with any repairs as soon as the trucks start being delivered during the second half of the year! If you are in need of any service or repairs, feel free to give Friendly Ford’s service department a call at: 866-928-7905.
Ever wondered what it would be like to drive a Ford Model T? The Gilmore Car Museum which is located about 3 hours away from our dealership will be offering driving classes to people of all ages during the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons in 2014. The Gilmore Car Museum located in Hickory Corners, Michigan offers a whole day of vehicle exhibits.
The Ford Model T was assembled in Detroit on 1908. The Model T engine was placed in 15,000,000 automobiles within 19 years! The introduction of the assembly line in 1914 enabled Ford to produce more automobiles than any other company of that time. The Ford Model T remains an important part of American History.
The Model T Driving Class lasts for about two and a half hours and is limited to 18 students per class. Classes will be offered on May 3rd, June 22nd, July 22nd, August 23rd, and September 14th. The driving class is only $95 and it includes a tour of the museum. If you are interested in taking part in one of the classes, be sure to call and reserve your spot at 269-671-5089. You can also check out their website for additional information.

April came and went with the blink of eye, and with it, so did National Car Care Month. This month just serves as a reminder of how important it is to keep your car in good health so that you not only extend the life of your vehicle but save yourself money in repair costs. Here are 8 simple and inexpensive ways to keep your car looking and running as good as new.
Check and change your oil. This one is a biggie, nothing hurts an engine more than having old, dirty oil.
Make sure to keep all your moving parts nice and greasy so that they run together smooth and efficiently.
Get a coolant flush at least one time a year. To prevent corrosion, the mix between coolant and distilled water should be 50/50.
Replace your break fluids at least once a year to also prevent corrosion, due to the build-up of moisture.
Change out transmission and different oils. These should be changed according to service intervals.
Wash your car frequently so the winter salt and other grime from the roads don’t eat away at the exterior.
Use a protective wax coating to keep your paint shiny and protected.
When possible, try parking in the shade instead of the sun. Also, apply protective coating to the vinyl and plastic of the interior to keep it looking shiny and new.
If you keep your car happy and healthy in the early years, it will return the favor in the later years by living a long life. Friendly Ford offers great service specials so stop in today and give us a try. You and your car will both be glad you did.
