While the Ford Ka has already been on the market in Europe and South America since the 1990s, Ford just recently debuted a new-generation concept vehicle of the Ka in Brazil. Although most concept cars simply lead to future production vehicles, the new Ka is basically already a production-ready vehicle. Ford says that the Ka is one of the most important vehicles for the brand’s future; it will be Ford’s centerpiece in the small car market worldwide.
“It is one of the most important product programs we’re working on, and I know the things we’re working on for North America,” John Hinrichs, Ford’s president of the Americas, said. “It’s a big deal for us.” The Ka, a five-seater hatchback, will go on sale first in Brazil as the 2015 Ford Ka before spreading to other markets across the world.
While the Ka will not actually be crossing over to the American market, Ford already has an incredible lineup of small family cars in the US. Come in to Friendly Ford and check out the Focus, Fiesta, Focus ST, or Fiesta ST today!
